The Best of JHU 2009, In Photos

In 2009, Jim Hanley's Universe had dozens of signings with the best comic creators in the world. That is nothing new for JHU, but the opening of the JHU Underground expanded our offerings to our great customers even further with exclusive lectures, panel discussions, and music and comedy performances seen nowhere else in New York City. We've tried to document as many of these signings and JHU Underground events as possible here on the JHU blog, and we are happy to say that the response has been overwhelming, with our pictures on flickr receiving more than 200,000 total combined views so far!

So as a year-end treat for one and all, below is a small sample of the best of 2009 in photos, featuring some of the great creators and events to drop by JHU in '09, as well as some photos of just some of the great JHU staff who make all this possible. Without hyperbole, the JHU staff is the best in the world at what they do, and are just as important as any of the wonderful creators who have graced us with their presence this year.
