Gaming at Jim Hanley's Universe! Updated!

Here's another rundown of all things gaming at Jim Hanley's Universe!

Jim Hanley's Universe has New York's Premier Comic Book Store for 25 years, and is now New York's Premier Gaming Spot, with Magic, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and soon Warhammer!

Gaming at the JHU Underground at our Manhattan location continues to grow! Thursdays at the JHU Underground are Standard Constructed tournaments and Friday Night Magic at the JHU Underground features traditional Draft tournaments! We have also just announced Saturday Afternoon Drafts beginning at 2:00pm every Saturday at the JHU Underground! As usual, Draft tourneys are $15 to enter, and you get 3 booster packs on top of your entry into the hottest Magic tourneys anywhere in Manhattan. Standard Constructed tourneys cost $10 - you bring your own deck, with permitted expansions being Shards of Alara, Conflux, Alara Reborn, Magic 2010, Zendikar, and Worldwake. (Running low? Don't Worry! JHU Carries a large selection of booster packs and starter decks from all the latest expansions.)

As always, with gaming on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays at the JHU Underground, doors open at 5:00pm and the games begin at 6:00pm. All Magic: the Gathering tournaments at both our locations are fully sanctioned by Wizards of the Coast and counts towards official rankings on both a regional and national level!

Don't forget about our Staten Island location, the original JHU gaming hot spot featuring the hottest tournaments with the most games of any place in New York City!

And the wait is over! Every Monday night at the JHU Underground at Jim Hanley’s Universe in New York City is open for casual gaming! Bring a friend or a playgroup from 6:00pm to 10:00pm to play your favorite trading card, role-playing, or collectible model game! Play any of your favorite games including Axis and Allies, Chaotic, Dinosaur King, Dragon Ball, Dungeons & Dragons, D&D Miniatures, Epic, Free Realms, Huntik, Legend of the Five Rings, MapleStory, MechWarrior, Naruto, Pokemon, Star Wars, Universal Fighting System, Warhammer 40K, World of Warcraft, and others! Only $5 entry fee for four hours of fun, casual gaming, exclusively at Jim Hanley's Universe in Manhattan - New York's Pemeir Comic Book Store and Gaming Spot!
