Magic: The Gathering SCARS OF MIRRODIN Pre-Release Coming to JHU September 25!

Jim Hanley's Universe and Wizards of the Coast present Magic: The Gathering Scars of Mirrodin Pre-Release Tournaments SATURDAY, September 25!

The wait is over, Magic fans! Be at Jim Hanley’s Universe Saturday, September 25 for the much anticipated pre-release of the new Magic expansion, Scars of Mirrodin, at both JHU locations! This is your chance to be the first to get a crack at this brand new expansion set (before it is released to the general public October 1!) at Jim Hanley's Universe in New York City!

FORMAT: Sealed (Get 6 booster packs of the Scars of Mirrodin set and build a 40 card deck to use and play against opponents for 5 rounds.)
ENTRY FEE: $30
Each participant in the Main Event will receive an exclusive promo card!

Seating for the main event is limited (see below). If you can't make the main event, don't worry! We will be doing many side events all day at both locations! The side events will be draft format at only $15!

Below is the schedule for the pre-release:

The JHU Underground at our Manhattan Location
Main Event: 2:00 - 6:30 PM
Side Events (limited availability): 2:30 - 7:30 PM
Side Events (full availability): 7:30 - 10:00 PM

Staten Island
Main Event: 1:00 - 5:30 PM
Side Events (limited availability): 1:00 - 5:30 PM
Side Events (full availability): 5:30 - 8:00 PM

Both Main Events are strictly limited to the first 50 entrants, no exceptions. This is on a strict first-come, first-served basis, and there will be no pre-reservations allowed.
