Jim Hanley's Universe and Wizards of the Coast present the Magic: The Gathering INNISTRAD Launch Parties Saturday, October 1!

The wait is over, Magic fans! Be at Jim Hanley’s Universe Saturday, October 1 for the much anticipated launch parties of the new Magic expansion, Innistrad, at both JHU locations! This is your chance to be the first to get a crack at this brand new expansion set at Jim Hanley's Universe in New York City!

FORMAT: Sealed (Get 6 booster packs of the Innistrad set and build a 40 card deck to use and play against opponents for 4 rounds.)

ENTRY FEE: $30 (Each participant in the Main Event will receive a Ludevic's Test
Subject / Ludevic's Abomination promo card, while supplies last!)

Seating for the main event is limited (see below). If you can't make the main event, don't worry! We will be doing many side events all day at both locations! The side events will be draft format at only $15!

Below is the schedule for the pre-release:

The JHU Underground at our Manhattan Location
Main Event: 2:00 - 6:30 PM
Side Events (limited availability): 2:30 - 7:30 PM
Side Events (full availability): 7:30 - 10:00 PM
Signup begins at 9:00am!

Staten Island
Main Event: 1:00 - 7:00 PM
Side Events (full availability): 5:00 - 8:00 PM
Signup begins at Noon!

Both Main Events are strictly limited to the first 50 entrants, no exceptions. This is on a strict first-come, first-served basis, and there will be no pre-reservations allowed.

NOTE: We sold out both pre-release events September 23 - Sign up for the launch events begins at noon at our Staten Island Location and at 9:00am at our Manhattan Location, first come, first served!

This cannot be stressed enough: YOUR BEST CHANCE AT GETTING A SEAT TO THESE TOURNEYS IS TO ARRIVE BEFORE 12:30!
