Jim Hanley's Universe and Wizards of the Coast present the Magic: The Gathering DARK ASCENSION Launch Parties Saturday, February 4th!

The wait is over, Magic fans! Be at Jim Hanley’s Universe Saturday, February 4th for the much anticipated launch of the new Magic expansion, Dark Ascension, at both JHU locations! This is your chance to be the first to get a crack at this brand new expansion set at Jim Hanley's Universe!

FORMAT: Sealed (Get 3 packs of Innistrad and 3 packs of Dark Ascension and build a 40-card deck, for 4 rounds)
ENTRY FEE: $30

Each participant in the Main Event will receive a Mondronen Shaman / Tovolar's Magehunter promo card, while supplies last! Seating for the main event is limited (see below). If you can't make the main event, don't worry! There will be side events at both locations following the main event! The side events will be draft format at only $15!

Manhattan
Main Event: 1:00 - 5:30 PM
Side Events (limited availability): 1:30 - 5:30 PM
Side Events (full availability): 5:30 - 10:00 PM
Signup begins at 9:00am!

Staten Island
Main Event: 1:00-7:00PM
Side Events: 5PM - 8:00PM
Signup begins at Noon!

The Main Event is strictly limited to the first 50 entrants in Manhattan, 24 in Staten Island, no exceptions. This is on a strict first-come, first-served basis, and there will be no pre-reservations allowed.
